Digital Legacy

Organisations advising on / providing resources supporting management of your digital data at end of life / after death

The Digital Legacy Association

‘The Digital Legacy Association is the professional body dedicated to raising the quality of end of life care in all areas relating to digital asset and digital legacy. Our mission is to help ensure that everyone’s end of life wishes are met both in the real world and the digital realm. We do this by supporting the general public and by developing standards, frameworks and toolkits with charities and organisations that address end of life.’

Marie Curie – Sorting out social media and online accounts

‘Most people have lots of social media and online accounts, sometimes called digital assets. It can be helpful to think about what you want to happen to these accounts after you’ve died. You can put plans in place to make things easier for your family members and friends to carry out your wishes.’

DeadSocial – Prepare for Death Digitally & Build Your Digital Legacy

‘DeadSocial are dedicated in providing the best digital legacy and digital end of life planning tutorials. We write all of our tutorials independently without outside influence from healthcare organisations and pharmaceutical manufacturers. If you would like a tutorial to be written that does not currently exist please contact us and we will write a resource based on you requirements for absolutely free.’

Afterbook

‘Whether sharing images and memories with family, or as an outlet to journal and memorialise the important moments of life, Afterbook is a home for your life story. And the stories of the ones you love. A space to celebrate and leave a meaningful legacy.’
