Eligible ONLY for those who have completed all 3 of the following steps within the last 3 years: Attended the Full Day T34 training AND completed the LearnPro T34 Calculations module (GGC:100) AND have completed their T34 Competency Framework. The training session will enable registered nurses working within the district team to update their knowledge on pharmacology and case scenarios relating to the T34 syringe pump. * S&T Communication SkillsS&T Communication Skills

Time: 9:30 am

SAGE & THYME Communication Skills Workshops support clinical and non-clinical staff in using the skills needed to notice distress, listen carefully and respond helpfully. Each 2hr 45 minute online workshop demonstrates the communication skills required to provide person-centred support and offers a structured approach for dealing with the concerns of patients and their carers. The workshop uses a mixture of small group work, lectures and videos. To register for SAGE & THYME you must: 1) Work in health and social care. 2) Have access to a PC/Laptop/Tablet with a webcam and microphone (smartphones not suitable). * DNACPR & CoD trainingDNACPR & CoD training

Do Not Attempt Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (DNACPR) & Confirmation of Death (CoD) Training for Registered Nurses in DN teams. DNACPR session will raise staff awareness of the NHS Scotland DNACPR Policy and the need for sensitive communication regarding this when talking with patients/residents and their families. CoD session will enable registered nurses working in the primary care setting to confirm the death of a patient and then take the appropriate action. Click here to open flyer.

* Guidance@End of Life WorkshopGuidance@End of Life Workshop

Guidance At End of Life (GAEL) Online Workshops These workshops are open to any Registered Nurse working in the hospital setting, especially those who care and support people in the last few days of life. You will join other nursing colleagues in working through a case study relating to communication and care planning at end of life. The workshop will highlight the importance of the key actions in NHSGGC Guidance at End of Life. Each 2hr 30-minute session will include a presentation, video clips and group work.
