Acute Practice Development Team


Our team aims to support Practice Development in Palliative Care for all staff across all sites in Greater Glasgow Division.  This will be achieved by leading and facilitating Practice Development initiatives, as instructed by the Palliative Care Practice Development Steering Committee, MCN, Living and Dying well Acute Group and dissemination of evidence based care.  We work closely with Palliative Care Teams, clinical staff and local education and training providers.

Are you a Health Care Professional working across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde – Acute, Hospice or Care Home and are interested in accessing communication skills training?  If so, Palliative Care Practice Development in conjunction with other education departments currently provide three communication skills training courses that can support your development.  The Communications Skills Course Descriptor* will allow you to select the most appropriate course – please access this information before signing up for one of the communication skills training courses.
